Every Friday from 5 June to 17 July 2015

Always wanted to glimpse a tiger prowling at twilight? Or dreamt of watching graceful giraffes as they settle down at dusk? ZSL London Zoo can make your dreams come true at its brand-new summer event; Sunset Safari.

Visitors can choose to embark on self-guided Safari Trails where they’ll see the Zoo’s magnificent animals and take in a packed programme of animal feeds and fascinating talks about the Zoo’s animals.

The perfect way to start the weekend, Sunset Safari will run every Friday from 5th June until 17 July 2015 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, with friends, couples, and families alike invited to experience the magic of the Zoo after-hours.

Trails and Tours

Visitors can choose to embark on self-guided Safari Trails where they’ll see the Zoo’s magnificent animals and take in a packed programme of animal feeds and fascinating talks about the Zoo’s animals.

For those who want to delve deeper into the wonders of the animal kingdom, limited places are available on Premium Guided Safari Tours. Premium tour guests will be led by an expert Safari Guide on an exploration of the Zoo, discovering fun facts about the Zoo’s individual animals and picking up exclusive tips on spotting elusive species.

Entertainment

Mesmerising performances at the Zoo’s Theatre of Life will enthral guests of all ages with entertaining insights into unique animal behaviours.

As the sun sets visitors will be invited to relax at the Safari Base Camp, with an acoustic guitar performance providing an idyllic end to what promises to be an unforgettable evening.

Working for Wildlife

A visit to the Sunset Safari Conservation Station is a must, with ZSL’s own conservationists, scientists and keepers sharing gripping tales from the field and revealing fascinating facts from the world of wildlife.

Delicious Food and Drink

Feeding time is not just for the animals, and visitors will love wolfing down the delights on offer at the World Food Market where London’s finest food vendors will be serving tantalising dishes from around the world.

*Due to baby gorilla, Alika, Gorilla Kingdom may be closed during the event to ensure baby bed time.

*The Lions are currently on holiday at their sister zoo ZSL Whipsnade Zoo while their new enclosure is being built at London.  They will return in 2016.
